As a Digital Media Assistant for TMU Student Wellbeing, Teresa developed engaging social media content to promote wellness resources and initiatives for students. She collaborated with the team to design graphics, create campaigns, and manage digital platforms, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging that resonated with the university community.

As Media Editor for CanCulture, Teresa oversaw the creation of social media content, collaborating with volunteers from pitch to publication. She pitched weekly graphics and reels, guided volunteers in developing their content, and worked closely with the Social Media & Graphics Director to ensure the platform remained active and engaging.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, Teresa served as a Social Media Associate for the Filipino Student Association (FILMET) at TMU. She collaborated with creative teams to establish a cohesive brand image and worked with local Filipino businesses like Teako and Ruru Baked to strengthen FILMET’s social presence both on and off-campus, fostering connections within the student and local community.

As a Video Host at Streets of Toronto, Teresa brought the city's vibrant food scene and unique experiences to life by hosting engaging video segments. She conceptualized and pitched weekly content ideas, showcased new restaurants and local hotspots, and guided viewers through Toronto. With her on-camera presence and enthusiasm, Teresa played a key role in delivering polished, high-quality videos that captured the essence of the city.

As the Social Media Coordinator for The Living Magazine through TMU’s Social Venture Zone, Teresa led content creation efforts to build the magazine's audience ahead of its Live Journalism showcase in September 2023. She crafted engaging visuals and wrote all captions for Instagram, aligning the feed with the team’s creative vision. Teresa also contributed to the on-campus promotional booth and drove social media strategies, including a reel series, to amplify the show’s marketing objectives. She worked closely with design and marketing teams to produce attention-grabbing content and ensured all posts were timely and relevant.

As the Arts and Culture Editor for The Eyeopener, Teresa led the coverage of music, art, and thought-provoking stories within TMU's creative community. She worked closely with volunteers to spotlight intersectional artists and cultural narratives while managing multiple stories and ensuring consistent collaboration.
The Eyeopener has been TMU’s independent student voice since 1967, championing stories from and for students while evolving as a trusted publication on campus.

As a Managing Editor at Hues Magazine, Teresa ensured the seamless flow of content by approving pitches, editing articles, and managing a team of writers and genre editors. She collaborated with the executive team to shape each issue, oversaw website content, and supported cross-departmental projects, from podcasts to sponsored content.
Hues Magazine is a bi-annual Toronto-based publication celebrating student creativity in Image Arts, Fashion, and Design. It fosters a collaborative space for inspiration and recognition within the creative community.
